A: This is an important one! Outdoor family sessions are ALWAYS held approximately 1.5 hours prior to sunset, so we can capture that beautiful golden light. Newborn sessions are scheduled to begin late morning/early afternoon.
Q: What time do you schedule sessions?
A: If a session gets cancelled due to inclement weather or illness, we will do our best to reschedule your session as soon as possible at a time that works with everyone's schedule.
Q: what happens if we have an outdoor shoot, but the weather is not permitting? what if someone is sick the day or the session? do we get to reschedule?
A: The best thing you can do for your kiddos ahead of your session is to make sure they're rested and have had a snack. During the session, I work hard to entertain your kids. If they're not *perfect*, it's okay!! Resist the urge to tell them to "look at the camera" or sit still. Quite the opposite is what I'm looking for! You'll be surprised what wonderful images I can get when you think they're misbehaving!
Q: what if my kids are uncooperative?
Q: If i cancel, is my retainer refundable?
A: Wait! Why are you cancelling?! Please don't go! But seriously, I understand that life is unpredictable. Things happen. That said, the retainer is not refundable. This is quite simply because I have reserved a date on the calendar and will likely have turned away other clients for that date. So, let's stick together and make some magic!
