Let me just tell you (in case you live somewhere nice and temperate)….summertime in Texas means it’s hot. Like really hot. No two ways around it. So yesterday, I took my boys (and dragged my hubby) to get popsicles at Steel City Pops in Southlake. We’ve been once nearly a year ago, but the boys have been begging to go back. What better time than when temps have been hovering at 100 degrees for forever and ever? Naturally, as a family photographer, I had to bring the camera along to capture my own family!
There’s so much I love about this place! The popsicle flavors (so many!) are delicious (hello….why yes, I’ll take a strawberries and cream popsicle dipped.in.white.chocolate) and there’s lots of ways to “dress up” your popsicle. The boys got cookies and cream and vanilla, both dipped in chocolate. I enjoyed my strawberries and cream, and if I closed my eyes really tight and used my vivid imagination, I could pretend it was a healthy snack. Made with real fruit and all!
