Hospital Newborn Session – Baby Rosemary

This is the third time I’ve had the honor of photographing the Ellis family and their sweet, sweet wild-haired babies! I’m always so giddy when a client choses a hospital newborn session…they are one of my favorites! There’s just something about a family together, in that small hospital room, all of whom are in complete awe of their new addition.

When I arrived to the room, we had a few quiet minutes with just mom and dad and baby. It’s a great time for me to catch up with mom and dad, coo all over baby, and get some one-on-one images with their sweet newborn. Did I mention the Ellis babies have epic hair!! Then the fun really started when big brother and big sister arrived! It was so much fun seeing how they looked at their new baby sister, touched her little toes and gave her hugs.

Without a doubt, the most exciting part of my morning with the Ellis family, was being present when they decided on the baby’s name…Rosemary Lauren. I can’t adequately communicate how special it is to be present for these big moments with my photography families. It’s an honor I will never cease to cherish, and I’m so thankful for this “job” that gives me these opportunities.
